Mid Kent League Match – August

August results have finally arrived and are available on the Mid Kent League page. In August we were shooting an away match against Black Lion.

Weather wise it was a reasonable day if a little windy, unfortunately as a team we didn’t have a good day and afforded them their first win of the season. Well I guess somebody had to, just shows what can happen when some of us have a bad day. Having said that, the difference was only 116 on Handicap Score and 167 on the Pure Score so we still accumulated a reasonable amount of points to maintain our third place in the Pure Score although we have slipped to fifth in the Handicap table. The team this month was made up from the scores of Colin, Sandra, Christina and Lucy for both Pure and Handicap scores

This will hopefully change for the better in the final match which was held in September where, if the figures were correct, we won one and lost one. Going on current form we might get these results sometime at the end of October.

Mid Kent League match – July

Due to Falcon being no longer able to use their ground and therefore unable to host July’s Mid Kent League match, they offered us a match at Crown’s ground on the Saturday. Unfortunately with a number of our archers being unavailable on the Saturday it was decided that we would host the match on the Sunday. This turned out to be a good day for us as we managed to secure a win in both Pure Score and Handicap Score, a first this season.

Having narrowly missed a win during the previous months this was a great result for us, due to the contribution scores from Cam, Christina, Richard and Lucy for the Pure Score and Christina, Jeremy, Richard and Lucy for the Handicap Score. Well done to all who took part and same again for August please.

Congratulations to Richard. On shooting an Albion during the match he achieved a score of 794 and beat the club record by 11 points, previously held by Mick Walton for 9 years.

Mid Kent League April 2015

Results are in on the first match of the season against Darenteford, these can be found on the Mid Kent League page. We managed a narrow victory in the Handicap Score but lost the Pure Score by 278. Well done to all those who took part and lets strive to get both next month against Gravesend.

BA Frostbite 2013/14

Having got hold of the final results for the Frostbite 2013/14 it would seem congratulations are in order for all those that made up the ‘B’ team as you came top of your division (34) with an accumulated score of 4067, ahead of 2nd place by 244. Well done to all concerned.

Medway’s ‘A’ team came 2nd in division 16 scoring 4299, narrowly missing first place by only 160, better luck next year.

Results can be seen here.

Mid Kent League June
